The Mulliner division will be celebrating Bentley's 100th anniversary next year with the release of a Mulsanne special edition. It pays homage to the company's founding father, W.O. Bentley and even has an item from one of his vehicles.
The special model can be ordered with a standard Mulsanne, Mulsanne Speed or Mulsanne Long Wheelbase. It was inspired by a 1930 8 Litre Bentley owned by W.O. was using as his personal vehicle. The influence of the car can be felt throughout the interior and even a Mulliner illuminated cocktail cabinet that features an opening window that shows an image of the original crankshaft from the 8 Litre car that is displayed inside.
Other highlights include a chrome-colored application running back to the side of the car that has a photoetched B-shaped air vent which incorporates W.O. The front grille is patterned following 1930s-inspired Onyx, and there's an optional chrome finish around the lower spoilers on the left and right. The front grille is also distinctive, with a chrome shell instead of the typical body-colored mesh, which is typical of the standard Mulsanne and including the Flying B logo as well.
A key box engraved with the Bentley wings can hold two keys and features black flock lining, while keys are individually sized to match or contrast with the key box. The set is also commemorative, and includes a custom 1:18 scale model of the 8 Litre and the paperweight that flies with the letter 'B along with an illustrated brochure that includes never-before-seen images of the original 1930s 8 Litre.

The standard exterior features illuminated treadplates as well as brushed silver clocks and the new 22in wheels that feature self-leveling Bentley logos.
